For many entrepreneurs/business owners, being business-minded comes naturally, and they can just see what others don’t. It’s what makes them good at business—essentially, they’re business strategists. For others, however, it can take quite some time to develop a mind for business as they navigate through their career journey and make some very important self-discoveries.
For me, it’s been a bit of both. I’ve always been a strategist, though I didn’t know that’s what I was until I took the StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment. And I was constantly been drawn to puzzles and problems since childhood; I had an enormous amount of patience to sit and think for hours until I came up with a solution—if it even took me that long. However, I also had to experience many different jobs, failures, and successes before I discovered that I was actually pretty good at this whole business thing.
